Dear Mountain's Hug,
we want to say thank you for all you have done for us. We have already been here for the third time and we surely will come back next year to stay at your “Mountain’s Hug”.
Mountain’s Hug - paradise cannot be better. Here we found a spectacular nature including the unforgettable views at Kilimandscharo and Mount Meru. we have been hosted wonderfully. You always took care for us, made good breakfast and tasty meals, organized breathtaking safaris, especially to Serengeti and you taught us to find back to nature and our all origin. To put in a nutshell, best holidays we ever have had. We will come back in summer 2024. God bless you and your family.

We stayed 10 days (4 days of it on safari) in this beautiful guest house of Mountain's Hug, located between Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro and in close proximity to Arusha National Park. The guest house is set in spacious grounds surrounded by acacia trees. We were lovingly cared for by the whole team and received a varied breakfast. We gladly took advantage of the opportunity to use the shared kitchen in the evenings. The room in the guest house was very clean, spacious and functionally furnished. We also received a lot of support from Godfrey in organizing our time in the region and a 4-day safari to different national parks was organized. Godfrey is an experienced guide and very good driver, so we always felt safe. Definitely we will come back!

I came with my parents and my three little children from Zanzibar to stay for one week. Mountain's Hug is created as a cozy, welcoming, quiet and family friendly space. Every question has been answered and our stay was very pleasant. Especially the rich outside breakfast with an incredible view on Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru was a source of regeneration and peace. We also joined a day trip safari with Godfrey and enjoyed the Arusha Nationalpark and its wildlife, that is just a stone's throw away from Mountain's Hug. We are looking forward to spend some more time at this unique destination and it's beautiful nature.
Thank you for all your heart-warming care.

What a wonderful place between Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru. Wild giraffes, experience the sunrise behind Kilimanjaro from the tent and chat with lovely hosts. We stopped here on our cycle tour and were richly rewarded. With nature, delicious food and above all a lot of information about life in the region that the hosts shared with us. Thank you again!

We have been guests at Mountain's Hug in November, it was a wonderful end to our trip through the national parks. From the campsite you have a good view of Kilimanjaro (if not in clouds) and Mount Meru. The facility is very well maintained and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. We have never been welcomed so warmly at a campsite. In the evening we sat together around the campfire and learned a lot of interesting facts about the country and its people. The two of them are also a very good contact for organizing a trip to Tanzania. Many thanks again to the whole team.

Dear Mountain's Hug, it was by chance, that I have heard about you, through my daughter Noemi. How lucky I was as I could not have found a better place to stay at the foot of Mt. Meru. It is amazing, how you take care of the nature and the wild animals - you have created a paradise. As soon as I walked into your little forest, I could feel the differences: I immediately felt surrounded by pure nature, by the sound of the little river, of so many different birds, by the chipping of the crickets. By relaxing in your beautiful garden, I could observe the joyful play of the velvet monkeys. In the evenings I listened to the concert of the frogs as well as to the conversation of the bush babies as to the smacking of the buffalo, who was happily chewing the grass he was missing outside of your fence. And at night: the miracle of millions of stars, that you are rarely able to observe nowadays. THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful paradise with me! You are GREAT hosts and I am looking forward to come again.

Mount Meru was a fantastic climb. We saw buffalos, colobus monkeys, antelopes, leopard poo and many birds. But the highlights were the many shades of green and the stunning views, including on Mount Kilimanjaro. We loved transitioning from the tropical forest to the lower shrubs covered in moss. I am so happy we chose Mountain's Hug for this climb. They organised everything perfectly, with porters and a super cook, and the family size of the business made the contacts easier and warmer. Their price is also very good.

A wonderful place, embraced by Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro, run by wonderful people. It is not a 5-star super luxury lodge. But everything is clean, especially the sanitary facilities, and the service couldn’t be more individual. In the end, we felt less like guests than like welcome friends. The location and tranquility are unique; you can understand why Hardy Krüger, who had his farm just a few kilometers away, fell madly in love with this landscape. Love is the unbeatable foundation of Mountain’s Hug, which is run by the loving German-Tanzanian couple Maria and Godfrey Mollel, who have organized their small business well and manage it in a very respectful, attentive and structured way when dealing with the staff. We had a complete 2-week safari organized by Mountain’s Hug, which couldn’t have been more individual and flexible. Meru National Park with John Wayne Bar at the end, Meru Crater, Kilimanjaro circuit, full-day trip to the Maasai (not the usual 2-3 hour folkloristic „hopping visits“), coffee plantations, visit to the Chakka, waterfalls, markets etc, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Natron, to name just a few. Accommodation in tents (with your own cook!) or guesthouses and tented camps that could almost be described as luxurious, always the best sanitary conditions including shower and hot water. Spontaneous changes and requests were always made possible with great flexibility. Godfrey is the best guide you can imagine, he has decades of experience in the safari business and you get the impression that he knows every ranger in the parks and at least half of all the guides personally. In the background, Maria pulls the strings confidently and is always available. So if you value a truly authentic safari experience in Tanzania, with plenty of room for spontaneity and individuality, you won’t be able to miss Mountain’s Hug.

Dear Mountain’s Hug, thanks for a really nice stay at your beautiful place. We really enjoyed your kindness and hospitality. We have had a couple of great days here out off the grit. Your property is amazing and even though Kilimanjaro was tucked away in the clouds, we felt the special atmosphere. We had the best true game drive, many of us have been on safaris before but these time we got to experience hunting up close and seeing big animals right in front of us. Godfrey we really enjoyed your calmness and knowledge of both, animals, culture and society. You drove us through the parks that we never felt it’s crowded while it was somehow. According to the route you choose, you made us feel we are on our own in the Parks. We loved the home cooked meals and the family feeling of being here. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. We will recommend you to everyone who is interested visiting Tanzania. What a wonderful stay. TAK!
